The Gisborne Cockroach is a common in Auckland area. Originally from Australia the Gisborne Cockroach can be
found mostly outside e.g. bark gardens, fire wood etc.The Gisborne Cockroach in its juvenille stages is light brown
and looks similar to the native cockroach. As it matures it becomes a dark brown sometimes mistaken for black. Adult Gisborne
cockroaches have distinctive yellow stripe on each side of their body running from their head to their thorax. Adult
Gisborne cockroaches can be quite large and move fast when disturbed at night. During the day they are mostly docile and
relucatant to move even when nudged. Mostly the Gisborne cockroach lives outside and gets into your house by accident.
Once inside they wander around your house looking for a way out or food and water. The Gisborne cockroach can establish
itself inside your house, in particular the kitchen. Signs that the Gisborne Cockroach is living in your kitchen are all the
stages of the life cycle being seen in your house ( very small through to large adults). The Gisborne cockroach sticks its egg
sacks to the sides of wall- cupboards-draws etc. These are brown and "crispy" to touch. Egg sacks in your house in-particular
the kitchen is another sign that the Gisborne cockroach has established itself in your house. The third sign is adults leave
behind black faeces that are large and could be mistaken for mouse droppings. Cockroaches are known to carry pathogens on their
body and have recently been shown to be linked to Athsma

PROCEDURE: A treatment takes around one hour and there is a two hour stand down period. You may see cockroaches for a few days afterwards,
