Cockroaches belong to the Order Blattaria. They are most similar to Praying Mantis you find in your garden. Cockroaches are
nocturnal, hiding in dark areas such as crevices or cracks during the day, but come out at night to find food and water.
Commonly they track over your food preparation surfaces at night in search of food when you are asleep. Cockroaches are hardy
insects and can go for weeks or months without food or water. While Cockroaches themselves are not harmful
that is they don't bite or sting, they carry bacteria and virues on their legs and body that are harmful to humans. The female
cockroach carries up to forty young in an ootheca (egg sack). When the female cockroach is stressed she instinctively
lays her young before dying. In around 30 days, her young are producing more cockroaches and the numbers increase exponentially.
